Teacher-librarians in Vancouver Public Schools are viewed as indispensable to the district’s vision of a technology-infused path to improved outcomes for students. This case study dives in the district’s expansion of the teacher-librarian role to spend more time in the classroom, curate digital content and lesson plans with teachers, teach digital citizenship to students, and serve as technology experts within their schools.
